Christmas at Bronte's Bookshop is now available to purchase via Amazon. Paperback, hardback and kindle are all available through this link - Christmas at Bronte's Bookshop eBook : Cogbill, Johanna: Amazon.co.uk: Kindle Store

About the book:

Christmas chic lit set in a fictional Welsh village Bronte runs her bookshop in the sleepy village of Gwyn living a somewhat mundane life, but she has a secret, Ruby Diamond her nom de plume. Ruby is the best-selling author of erotic historical fiction. Bronte keeps her secret from her family, her best friend Anna and her ex-Hari, who, by reappearing after leaving her practically standing at the altar eighteen months earlier, declaring his undying love, throws her calm life into chaos. The distraction of sexy sparky Tal, her childhood sweetheart Dan and being railroaded into organising the village centenary Christmas fayre, Bronte continues to write in secret whilst also trying to spread Christmas spirit amongst those who need it most. Will she finally reveal her double life? Will there be a happy ever after?

The Review - by Johanna Cogbill

Us writers always love to read

A review on our latest book

The anticipation that we all have

As we tentatively take a look

We wonder are there any new reviews

On Amazon or Goodreads

Has someone answered our pleas

And done us a good deed?

Has someone read and enjoyed

A book that we have written

Have they enjoyed the plotline

From the 1st page, were they smitten?

We don’t want to sound too desperate

Or keep on begging you

But it really means so much to us

To get a new review

So, to all you lovely readers

Please help us writers out

Long or short, we don’t mind

We’ll be indebted there’s no doubt

A Short story for you

I've been lucky to visit 2 lush bookshops that are run by 2 lovely ladies -Holly at Toadstool Bookshop in Newent Glos and Kath at Bardic Books Llantwit Major, both these wonderful shops also stock my books If anyone has any recommendations for other bookshops please let me know.

Reviews

If you've read any of my books please feel free to leave a review on Amazon, Goodreads or Facebook. Here are some reviews I have recieved on Amazon!

Lee Coates - Ciao Cariad

"Johanna Cogbill's debut novel is as warm and inviting as the Amalfi coast. And as sweet as a Porthcawl beach ice cream. It was such a genuine pleasure to be in the company of her two main characters, Al and Con as they navigate the complexities of life, love and families. You couldn't help becoming emotionally attached to them. I look forward to Johanna's sequel/prequel so I can spend more time with them."

Donna Wadley

"A fabulous read, loved the characters, the story line, felt like I'd visited the wonderful places and became friends with Alex and Connie. Would highly recommend Ciao Cariad, made me smile, laugh, cry, with lots of twists and turns, it has all the ingredients for a perfect read."

Lynn Price

"A really well written book which takes you into the surroundings and lives of Alex and Connie. A feel good story with a brilliant ending."

Caroline Page

"I couldn't put this book down, it's written about a seaside town of my childhood not far from where I live, and a place I've been lucky enough to visit. I bought this book over the Christmas holiday. As I read each page it transported me to sunny days. I could invisiage each landmark around Sorrento and the Amalfi cost. A
must read for lovers a a romantic book. Easy reading and looking forward to the next book."
